Overview:
In addition to seaborne forces in the south, the British Army invaded from Northern Iraq in a cleaver flanking move. The 10th Indian Division, amply equipped with light armour, moved to take the vital Pai Tak Pass, without which no movement through the mountains to Karamshah would be possible.
