Overview:
The British attacked the positions held by the 12. SS-Panzerdivision "Hitlerjugend", already tested by the incessant fighting since June 8th and in particular aerial attacks and naval artillery. Two companies from the Panzergrenadier-Regiment 26 were defending the garden and the castle of Boislonde under intense artillery fire.
