Overview:

Between September 18th and 20th, the British 7th KOSB (King's Own Scottish Borderers) defended the Landing Zone at Ginkel Heath. On the 19th, they would be tasked with defending the LZ in preparation for the 3rd Lift. On the evening of the 18th they would deploy around a farm known locally as the Johannahoeve Farm. On the morning of the 19th, SS grenadiers of Kampfgruppe Kraft would advance out of the woods to the east and drive towards the LZ at Ginkel Heath. The HQ and D Companies of the 7th KOSB were waiting in ambush at Johannahoeve Farm.

2025-02-27(D) Kermit Mullins vs Dan Best British win3 hrsTough game for the Germans. British ambush managed to wipe out the initial four half-tracks and all three squads. The next wave of Germans came up to try and take the two building locations. A lucky PIAT shot knocked out the AA Tank. Meanwhile the British fire was breaking up the German attacks, which persisted till the final turn. British managed to hang on for the win.
