Overview:
While Lord Gort was preparing the final positions of the BEF, the remnants of A, B, D & E Companies were ordered to take up defensive positions in and around the village of Le Cornet Malo. The Royal Norfolk's had been through a very difficult fortnight and were not the fighting force that started the battle.
