Overview:
After the defeat at El Alamein, Italy rapidly rushed the experienced Centauro Armored Division to North Africa. Rommel ordered the initial arriving units to Antelat to protect his flanks from the approaching Allied forces. It was here that the Centauro had their first encounter with forward units of the 7th Armoured Division. A large Bersaglieri column with armor was halted at the base of an escarpment by British forces above.Attacker: British (4th Light Armoured Brigade and 11th Hussars, 7th Armoured Division)
