Overview:
The German 5th and 7th Panzer Divisions exploited a rift in the French 10th Army's line. Despite Allied efforts along the Andelle River, their defenses crumbled, revealing a glaring vulnerability. In the early hours of June 8th, the German 5th Panzer Division launched its attack, swiftly overwhelming British positions and plunging the battlefield into chaos. By approximately 1600 hours, the lead German units encountered a determined British blocking position six kilometers north of Rouen. Major Syme, leading a makeshift unit comprised of Territorial Army troops, put up a valiant rear-guard fight.Attacker: German (5th Panzer Division)

Perhaps he was a bit reckless with the panzers. This one looks a bit tough on the Germans. We agreed to switch sides and play it again. To be fair, I was a bit lucky in that I didn't have anything malfunction. I'm interested to see how our next playing goes. | ||

He send the PzIB looking for the AT Gun. Unfortunately for the PzIB the AT Gun opened fire at the tank was in a woods road hex and blazed the tank. Due to a rate of terror with the Britsh MMG and the Germans finding one of the mines, at the end of the British turn 1 the Germans had lost two tanks and had only 2 GO MMC and another in melee and the Woods road hex now a flame. From then on every turn at least one hex adjacent to the Blaze hex would flame or blaze. The Germans conceded on German turn 5 with out enough mp to get around the raging fire in the forest and grain. |
