Overview:

One of the first objectives for the Soviet invasion was to seize Terijoki. The resort town offered insignificant military value. The significance of Terijoki was that the Soviets had designated it the home of the People's Revolutionary Government of Finland. The Winter War officially began when Soviet artillery opened a bombardment on the Karelian Isthmus on the morning of 30 November. The 70th Rifle Division, reinforced with the 20th Heavy Tank Brigade, attacked to seize Terijoki.

2025-08-25(A) Dave Mareske vs Paul Works Russian winWe both made some errors in our play. Be sure to use SMK on four of the Russian tanks (I forgot) and know that the Finns ELR to green units which made it hard for them to get out of the stream on the last turn. The Russians were able to park an AFV just before the bridge holding a squad in CC until the end.
2025-04-21(D) Tuomo Lukkari vs Antti Westerlund Russian winManaged to channel Russian attack by use of fortifications and active defence. Plattoon of 2 T-28 managed to slip through to the other side of Stream despite being attacked by MOL, MG TK, Street fighting.

IMO this is doable as Finn with very careful setup and active fallback - but certainly demanding for the Finn.

I like it.
2025-04-08(A) neal ekengren vs Finnish Russian winSeems like a Russian unstoppable wave. What am I missing? The Finnish fortifications can be puzzled together in a way that will prevent any Russian Vehicles from crossing the Stream. However this defense will make no difference. Russians have 30 squads and 6 Vehicles to overwhelm the 15 Finn squads with Molotov. The Russians can simply blast through the weak link in the defense and run 27 VP within 3 hexes of the Stream. They don't even have to cross the stream.
