Overview:
After two weeks of heavy fighting the Germans finally reached Brno which had been evacuated by the Czechoslovakian (CSR) forces. The German 14th Army advancing from the south aimed to link up with the 2nd Army advancing from the north. Before this could be done, a threat to the eastern flank of the German advance had to be dealt with. The CSR 3rd Light Division held the high ground to the east of Brno where it could interdict German Supply lines with artillery and launch a counterattack into the German flank. Germany's 2nd Panzer Division, in reality an Austrian formation, was tasked with dealing with this threat and prepared an assault towards the Pratzen Heights on the old Napoleonic battlefield of Austerlitz.Attacker: German (Pionier Bataillon 38 and Kradschützen Bataillon with Kampfgruppe "Guderian" Panzer Brigade 2, 2nd Panzer Division and Kampfgruppe "Rommel" befehlsgruppe)
