Overview:

Polish General Tadeusz Kutrzeba was given permission for an attack to the south by Army Poznan. The aim was to cover the retreat of Army Pomorze. The attack used the 25th, 17th and 14th Infantry Divisions and the Podolska and Wielkopolska Cavalry Brigades. General Kutrzeba hoped to disrupt the German attacks toward Warsaw and retake Leczyca, northwest of Lodz, in the process. Warsaw and Army Lodz would gain valuable time.

2023-03-01(A) Shane Pask vs Polish winI planned to send the initial troops East to distract the Germans from the reinforcements coming from the west. Germans set up mainly in the stone buildings on Board 45. By turn 6, I thought the Poles were moving too slowly. However, when the HMG squad broke they easily gained T5 and slowly tightened the noose. The Poles finally captured the last building on turn 10 and the Germans did not have enough troops left (1 crew and 9-1 leader - no squads or HS, broken or otherwise) left to retake one. The tall buildings made it difficult for the Poles to land OBA where they could see it.
2022-02-28(D) Jason Nichols vs Eric Topp German winA difficult decision at setup for the German as to how many units to setup forward. Went with a thin screen that included an ATR and both mortars. Small tankettes are almost impossible to hit. Made a mistake in thinking the buildings on Map 22 were two level, they're not. So units setup on level 1 can't see past the woods. Managed to delay the Polish attack though and pulled units back to the control buildings. Eric used his numerous tankettes to VBM me and I only managed to destroy one. However I was able to hang on to the last building and deny him control for the win.

2020-09-12(A) Kevin Duval vs Dwayne Duval Polish winPoles had a rough time trying to close the distance to VC buildings until Turn 4 Cavalry Brigade arrived to keep Germans occupied. Managed to circle around & contain Germans for CC/Melee which eventually ground them all down for the win.
