Overview:

Polish General Tadeusz Kutrzeba was given permission for an attack to the south by Army Poznan. The aim was to cover the retreat of Army Pomorze. The attack used the 25th, 17th and 14th Infantry Divisions and the Podolska and Wielkopolska Cavalry Brigades. General Kutrzeba hoped to disrupt the German attacks toward Warsaw and retake Leczyca, northwest of Lodz, in the process. Warsaw and Army Lodz would gain valuable time.
Attacker: Polish (25th Infantry Division/Cavalry Brigade Podolska)
Defender: German (Infanterie-Regiment 26, Infanterie-Division 30)

2023-04-22(D) Craig Renier vs Marc Hanna Polish winThe Poles advanced on the east side of the battle field. Long range German MG fire slowed the attack. But the Poles got a fortunate OBA placement with smoke neutralizing the German HMG. With that, the advance was able to continue unabated. The Germans attempted a general withdrawal with moderate success. The Germans gained some relief when an AT gun was able to wreck 3 Polish AFVs, opening an avenue for the withdrawing forces to move towards the Victory buildings. The few remaining German forces attempted a final stand in a Victory building, slowly moving upstairs while trying to block the Polish advance. In the last turn the final few units failed simple MCs leaving a lone SMC to fend off a swarm of Polish MMCs.
2020-10-16(A) Dave Mareske vs Dan Best Polish winTanks were good at vehicle by-passing German infantry positions and the Poles won by winning in CC. Good game that actually plays pretty fast.
2011-05-07(D) Miikka Sohlman vs Matti Holsti German win
