Overview:

It was up to the Devonshire and Dorsetshire battalions of the 50th Infantry Division to take Regalbuto. Dominating the town was the massive ridge that ran southwest of it, and that was held by the grenadiers of the Hermann Goring Division. In a brilliant night march and attack, elements of the Devons swept up and took the heights. But early the next morning, the weary Tommies had to face a sharp counterattack spearheaded by combat engineers. . .

Shorten Game Length to 7 turns. Replace the Victory Conditions with the following: “The Germans win at game end if they have more Good Order squad-equivalents than the British on hill hexes of board 2. Good Order MMC on Level 3 hexes count double.” Replace SSR 4 with the following: “One German 8-0 possessing the radio must set up HIP to direct the fire of a single offboard 75* leIG 18 INF Gun (German Ordnance Note 15). Radio Contact must be gained/maintained normally, but Battery access is NA. The 8-0 serves as a spotter (C9.3) and all principles of spotted indirect fire (C9.3-.31) apply [EXC: Gun Malfunction is NA], including ROF decrease (C3.33) and target acquisition. For TH# determination purposes, range is counted from hex 3A5.”. In the British balance replace “7 Turns” with “6 Turns”.MMP

2021-03-26(A) Dwayne Duval vs Kevin Duval British winGreat scenario other than the pointless offboard 75 INF Gun. The German MTR proved to be completely ineffective, while the British MTR laid effective smoke at the beginning, blinding all of the German mg's on the opposite hillside. The Germans made it up the hill with much of its force to push the British back nicely. All the Germans had to do was hold on until the end, but that proved too much of an ask and they got completely diced on the final British turn. It went from guaranteed win to crushing defeat in 3 British fire attacks.
2021-03-26(D) Kevin Duval vs Dwayne Duval British winUsed British Balance. Proven tactic of always rolling low when firing at Germans clinched the win in the end.
2021-03-22(A) manzoli andrea vs Galletto German win81 MTR on the Hill ..no smoke depletion and kept Rof
For three turns a lot of Smoke in front of British Position
So Germans can approache to the first Hill without a great number of Dm
British digged-in but German Engeneers are very powerful
Great assault ..

2014-12-31(D) David Yllanes vs Jeff B British winA fun and very bloody scenario. I had a very lucky first turn (my sniper killed one of Jeff's best leaders and this caused all of his stack to break, a stack of three 8-3-8 went beserk and was quickly mowed down by defensive fire). Jeff then had a good second turn, making good progress and causing me some important losses. After that the game became very intense. In the end, Jeff was not able to hold the top of the hill and, the British having the last chance to move, this ensured my victory.
