Overview:

By D+1 of the Operation Veritable campaign, the King’s Own Scottish Borderers had been ordered to cross the Westwall defenses in force near the Reichswald Forest as part of the 15th Scottish Division’s assault. They found a location to cross the Westwall in their Kangaroos without interference from the dug-in defenders. The rest of the division was unable to cross in a timely fashion so it fell to the KOSB to tackle the division’s remaining objectives by themselves. The final objective was a series of heights referred to as the Materborn that overlooked the town of Cleve.

2020-06-03(D) David Ramsey vs Toby Pilling British winPlayed as a partner with Martin, as shown on Episode 21 of Illuminating Rounds, against Toby. A close, close game coming down to the last possible shot against our last good order unit. Needed a 7, rolled an 8! This scenario is winnable if the Canadian player knows what he's doing and gets some luck. Certainly tough - but was really enjoyable and shouldn't be avoided just because of the dodgy balance if you're playing against a good player.
2019-11-26(D) David Ramsey vs Martin Barker German winChalk another victory for the Germans. The balance for the British/Canadians is probably a must have for this one - not an unenjoyable scenario by any means - and the focus of Illuminating Rounds, episode 3 (youtube..)
2018-02-24(A) Vic Lauterbach vs JM German winCloser than expected given its reputation. The mud makes just getting to the hill a challenge. Against an up-front defensive setup, I took some risks with Kangaroos and only lost one (13 LR PF shots missed). I took four Level 4 hexes, but couldn't hold them. Rain starting then getting heavy didn't help. My second attack on GT7 only gained one Level 4 hex. This one is mildly interesting but not really fun.
2013-02-01(D) Aaron Sibley vs Gerard Burton German winTerrible Scenario...too tough on the British.
