Overview:

Another day of pouring rain. The mud clung like black tar to the men's boots. The 292nd Infantry Division slowed its push to close the bag on the Russian Fourth Army. Each overrun town required its own garrison. Each possible exit needed a guard. As the leading troops shrank in number so did their speed. To insure success, Colonel-General Heinz Guderian abandoned his panzers to march on foot with the 507th Regiment. The Russians counterattacked east of Roslavl. Hastily laid minefields and marshy wet depressions offered the Germans hope that they could hold out until reinforcements arrived.

2021-01-19(D) David Garvin vs Nick Faryna German winGreat match involving lots of pressure by Nick. In the end, a few key rolls went my way.
2012-08-09(A) Jesus Pie vs Eloisol German win
2011-09-10(A) Andy Beaton vs Richard Hooks Russian winRan a human wave through the mines and got enough survivors through to break the German defence, with a flank attack through the swamps. Unusual scenario, but fun.
