Overview:

The German High Command realized that Operation Bagration was indeed a large scale Soviet offensive. The first German reinforcements to arrive in Minsk from Ukraine were the 5th Panzer Division. Their first contact with the advancing Russian units took place near Krupki where lend-lease Sherman tanks fought a sharp engagement with the defending Tigers of schwerePanzerAbteilung 505 in the early evening of June 28th.
Attacker: Russian (3rd Guards Tank Corps)
Defender: German (5th Panzer Division and aPzAbt 505)

2023-11-20(D) M T vs V.K. German winMy opponent made a really good infantry attack in the midgame, taking a bunch of my guys prisoner. The Tigers did prevail in the end, but it took some careful play and also a lucky PF shot to achieve.

This would be a good scenario to play if you want to practice Gyros or for general AFV rules learning also.
2022-05-22(D) Ron Garcia vs Darryl M. Russian win
2019-12-27(A) Paolo Cariolato vs Roberto Da Fina Russian winShowed to my good friend Roberto how to properly destroy tigers with Shermans.
2017-02-17(D) Michael Rodgers vs Larry Reinking German winGermans were a bit lucky with the dice, but the Russian player also neglected to do a proper dance of death.
2016-06-29(D) Vic Lauterbach vs MA German winOne Sherman and both SU-85s were lost trying to flank the forward Tiger then one truck and a HS were lost trying to exit, leaving the Russians 1 point short (27 exit VP). Very low German TH rolls made the difference.
2016-04-30(A) nathan wegener vs Dave Mareske DrawLike this one despite exit related VC. Good challenge for both sides. Didn't get to finish our game...

2012-06-23(A) James Lowry vs Patch Bunny Russian win
2012-03-11(A) Andy Beaton vs Bob Tufano Russian winBoth Tigers killed by SU-85's in 2 turns. The dice gave this one to the Russians.
2012-02-07(A) Steve Bowen vs AK German winVery nice little scenario that forces both sides to mix it up. A good one to play with somebody still learning AFVs because the armor will need to fight at close quarters and not just stand off and fire. As the Russians I played my infantry poorly, dismounting most of them out of the action and then running out of time to re-mount them and exit.
2009-01-18(A) Allen Evenson vs Mark Bergin German winGood AFV training - tough for both sides but the Tiger is pretty tough.
