Overview:

As German forces surged into Poland, the 4th Panzer Division approached Mokra, a hamlet surrounded by forest. Already dismounted and dug-in, Colonel Filipowicz's Wolynian Cavalry Brigade braced for the onslaught. That morning Polish gunners blasted the oncoming enemy with 75mm wz. 02/26 field guns while Polish dragoons fought it out in close quarters using hand grenades.

2024-02-24(A) Jobbo Fett vs Jobbo_Fett German winA German victory, but not without suffering numerous vehicle losses early on to the deadly 37L AT guns hiding in woods hexes. A great defense was mired only by having to walk through a lot of woods hexes and being intercepted by the surviving 20L PzIIAs. When the OBA failed to materialize on a large group of Germans, who subsequently broke the Polish defensive position on the left objective, we felt we could call it a night. Requires a lot of planning on the Polish side, and perhaps a central deployment in order to put up a fight on either side. The only downside is the crappy mortars either side gets.
2019-04-08(A) Gordon Jupp vs Andy Bagley German winRoller coaster of a game from my perspective! Got walloped early on by the OBA and thought it was all over....but managed to regroup and it went down to the last CC phase which I squeaked 😀
