Overview:
Major Farran and 50 SAS troopers were parachuted into northern Italy behind German lines. Farran spent several weeks raising and training a guerrilla force composed of an odd assortment of ranks, Russians who had escaped German prison camps, local communist party members and students who had fled forced labor units. Together these three companies formed the Battalione Alleata in an effort to harass the retreating Germans.Attacker: German (Division 232 and Division 114)
