Overview:
Without eating for the past two days, the Walloons (SS Belgium volunteers) of the SS Freiwilligen-Sturmbrigade Wallonie stumbled into the town of Nova Buda on the night of February 12th. Sealed with the Cherkassy Pocket, the Walloons were untested, hungry, and tired. The next morning, the sound of tanks could be heard in the distance. Suddenly, artillery began to fall and two battalions of Soviet cavalry began an assault.Attacker: Russian (Elements 11th Guards Cavalry Division)
