Overview:

"Hard to Cook" - The 7th Panzer Division had managed to sneak to the west, after fierce fighting around Hangest. The 7th Cuirassiers, a green armored unit, had been tasked to counter attack in order to support the withdrawal of the troops which were still resisting at Hangest. Unfortunately, contradicting orders prohibited any coordinated action. The 7th Cuirassiers was committed piecemeal, and its squadrons were infiltrated by the enemy, and forced to fight on their own. Trivero and Marty platoons were two of the units trying to return, along with other elements of the retreating French Army, to friendly lines in what would become a last odyssey for them. As they approached a crossroads close to Hermilly Farm, the few remaining AFVs were hit by several antitank guns hidden in the nearby woods. . .
