Overview:

Having briefly taken Hill 102, the British were determined to get it back, and this time to hold it. Once again, the starting point was Hill 103, south of Audrieu, and the attack would go in eastwards towards Hill 102 and the ruins of Cristot. This time, however, not only were the personnel different, but the whole plan was more carefully orchestrated. After a barrage of unprecedented force, the infantry and tanks moved off together.
Attacker: British (1st/4th King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry / C Squadron, 24th Lancers)
Defender: German (SS) (SS-Panzerdivision 12)

2024-10-20(D) Ken Rutkowski vs Bill Thomson German (SS) win
2024-07-01(A) Dave Mareske vs Dennis Dowd British winSome good SMK placement by the British, though they MALFed two guns in trying, others were turned into burning wrecks by the PSK. Still, the infantry made good progress and were able to capture the Victory locations in plenty of time.
2019-03-09(D) Paul Legg vs Magnus Rimvall German (SS) win
2019-02-26(A) Gordon Jupp vs Neil Brunger German (SS) winFun game, lots of sneaking around for the first couple of turns followed by great action - the 75mm ATG played a blinder for Neil and completely stalled my right flank attack, as well as taking out the Firefly! I took the church but couldn't quite get the woods hex... :)
2019-02-11(D) Simon Staniforth vs British win
2017-07-29(D) Tom Kearney vs Lindsey Murillo German (SS) winCommonwealth in Normandy campaign.
2017-06-15(A) Stephen dedier vs Holt, Jim German (SS) winMy first experience with the bocage and I really didn't use my vehicles well. The HIP gun and tanks really took a toll on my troops. I had a sliver of a chance for victory in the end with an all out charge on the victory hex but my troops just couldn't get there.
2012-12-16(A) Andy Beaton vs Martí Cabré German (SS) winFlawed game due to a setup error, but we played it out and my Brits conceded in turn 7 when the last of the board 46 infantry was shot up.
2012-12-16(D) Martí Cabré vs Andy Beaton German (SS) winI slowly stopped the British advance. The AT gun burned two vehicles and the MGs broke many infantry. Andy managed to reach by the two objective hexes but with lone MMC that then broke with only one turn to go.

We didn't enter the scenario in the ladder as I had placed an open-topped vehicle inside a building during setup.
2012-09-29(D) Andreas Lundin vs Axlk German (SS) winThe brits had rather easily taken the victory locations after all german MAs and all german MGs broke down, but a stylish counterattack on the church flipped the tables in favor of the Germans on the last turn.
2012-05-26(A) Ian Willey vs Ken Dunn German (SS) winReally close game. I lost in the final turn when by burning carrier set fire to the Victory Location (turned to flame the turn before)

2009-04-20(D) Fred Ingram vs Dave McLee German (SS) win
2009-02-01(A) Aaron Sibley vs Miles Wiehahn British win
2008-09-06(D) Rich Weiley vs Neil MacPherson German (SS) winPaddington Bearz - September 2008.
