Overview:

Strong German motorized forces crossed the Danish border early in the morning of April 9th. Several German armored cars were damaged or destroyed, and the Germans learned to fear the 20mm guns mounted on the Nimbus motorcycles poised for ambush at every major road intersection. By the time the Germans reached Haderslev, 60km north of the border, they had the tanks in the forefront. . .

2025-02-15(D) Jobbo Fett vs RootinPutin DrawStopped playing after 3.5 turns, the Danes couldn't get any hits with their guns or weapons and the Germans didn't care to try to make it across the bridges. Maybe we weren't in the right mood for the scenario, but it certainly felt boring, especially if you try to play it seriously, hunkering down on the far side of the river, and use the Steeple to dominate the landscape. Barring a bad roll, you aren't getting pushed out of there, and if the tanks don't crush the wire, you're just expecting a painful crossing.
2023-02-15(D) Grant Hewitt vs Tigernaut Danish winThe Danish Guns didn't do too much, but the HMG in the Steeple was effective (despite its manning infantry breaking twice). Danes could have made better use of the Nimbus's mobility. However, the Germans conceded in the Rally Phase of Danish Turn 7, after rolling a 6 to repair the malf'd MA on the last PzII to cross the canal after having just un-bogged. The Germans still had a mathematic chance to win, but would have needed good rolls for all of their remaining infantry to get under the wire and cross the bridges in their final Turn, likely still under fire from the Danish MGs.
2020-05-08(A) Kermit Mullins vs Dan Best Danish winDan's HMG in the steeple rained death down on me and then his AT Gun took down my tanks....and I conceded on Turn 5, when I had enough dying for one night. Remind me not to play this one again.

2016-08-13(D) Christopher Dawson vs German Danish winDanes got a bit lucky. One Panzer II, withdrew after disabling its own MA. Danish 37 bofors took a panzer out, while a 20mm machinecanon got the third. Then the Danish HMG had a ridiculously long rate of fire that CRed or broke half the German units in turn 5. German ended up without enough VP units left to possibly win.
