Overview:
Following the Japanese landings at Lingayen Gulf and Lamon Bay and the subsequent breakthrough at Rosario, the American and Philippine forces under the command of General Wainwright initiated their withdrawal to the Bataan Peninsula. They would set up defense lines a night's march away from each other, trying to allow as many troops as possible to make their way to the peninsula. Blocks were set up along Route 3, and any units available were used, including the remaining Stuart tanks of the Provisional Tank Group. The Japanese made contact with the infantry and then brought up tanks to break the positions.Attacker: Japanese (Elements of 49th Infantry Division and 7th Tank Regiment)
