Overview:

For weeks the “Chindits” of the 77th Indian Infantry Brigade had been marching, living off the jungle, and harassing the Japanese wherever they were found. Major Mike Calvert's 3 Column had tried unsuccessfully to find a suitable site for an air resupply drop, but finally it seemed they'd located the perfect spot, near the small village of Baw. RAF Dakotas were on their way to make the drop, while Major Ken Gilkes and his 7 Column were on the way down from the north to share in the spoils. As the parachutes began to fall, it was a surprise to see Japanese troops appear at the jungle's edge and take the Lancashire men under fire.

2022-05-12(D) Shane Pask vs Japanese winOne of those games where barely a shot is fired in the first 3 turns and then everything happens. My Chindits managed to reach all of the supplies first but had lost 2 at the end of the game (one was unpossessed under Japanese troops). In the end the score was 6-5 with the last Japanese building locked in melee.
Fun game as half of the "Control" targets were mobile.
2022-04-03(A) Neal Ulen vs Scott Japanese winIndian success seems dependent on the supply drops. The Indians (commonwealth) had a hard time stopping the waves of Japanese that all came on the lower portion of the entry board. Using two banzai charges the Japanese took some losses but overran the Indians and were in the village before their reinforcements came on the board. Two of the supply drops landed dead center of the village, so the Japanese were able to secure them as well.

2014-05-10(A) Raoul Duke vs JB British winIn light of ROAR data, gave British the balance. Game ended after turn 5, when Japanese took casualties to heavy to continue.
2013-04-05(D) Richard Carter vs Ray W. British winBitter Ender open match. I had some good rolls to hold on to the needed supply canisters and huts. He ended w/ a massive double banzai, but did not quite get enough.
2012-07-04(A) Ian Willey vs Martin Mayers Japanese winLost a lot in the first turn Banzai but this allowed for the folowing waves to start turning the Brits. A couple of boxcar MC's did not help the Brits though
