Overview:

General Heinz Guderian's XIX Panzer Corps had broken through the Polish defensive lines at Wizna and Mlawa. Next on the agenda was the fortress of Brzesc-Litewski. The fortress' garrison was a mixed bag consisting of march battalions and a number of old FT-17 tanks used for training. On 14 September, 10. Panzer-Division hit Brzesc-Litewski Blitzkrieg-style directly from the march.

Question: The Polish FT-17C counter (and the Chapter H depiction of the same) shows a 4 FP CMG, while the vehicle listing table suggests that this vehicle has no CMG. For the purpose of this scenario, should the FT-17Cs have a CMG? Answer: Yes. FRF Website
FrF26 A Polish Requiem The FT-17Cs no longer have CMGs (as per MMP errata), and to compensate the Poles receive two extra 4-5-7 squads (one in each infantry group).FRF Website

2025-01-29(D) Jon Jaramillo vs Chris Larkin Polish win4 hrsIn our continuing quest to play through the BoF series, I took the defending Poles and Chris attacked with the Germans. Initially looking at this scenario I was kind of thinking "How are the Poles going to win this one." The Germans have superior FP, great and numbered leaders and a million AFVs. But as luck would have it, the Polish MMG with 8-1 set up camp forward in the only multi hex building and had decent LOS over the board. Couple that with some monster ROF tears and just flat out rolling low and I had the Germans on their heels from the get go. The the crappy little tin cans with bb guns for MA started getting in on the action and I got a couple stuns on his AFVs, a crit burning wreck and got another one in CC before the reinforcements came in and really locked down the victory area. Chris managed to get 3 or 4 of his AFVs into the victory area but just could not get the infantry close enough to satisfy the VC. A thrilling and unexpected victory for the Poles.

2023-09-03(A) Shane Pask vs Polish winGermans malfed 4 tanks and fixed none (including both PzIVs on the same turn). On the last turn Poles got a lucky shot to destroy one functional AFV with their MMG, and shocked the last fully functional tank with a FT-17C shot in the rear as it started to move. Managed (just) the 3 squads in the victory area but no tanks left with MA working.
