Overview:
Axis forces were being driven from the Apennine Mountains on the Italian west coast. One by one the mountain strongpoints had to be reduced. One such strongpoint was on a ridge called Colle Musatello. Here a group of panzergrenadiers held positions overlooking a vital German supply route.
