Overview:

By 1944, the two major resistance movements in occupied Greece, EDES and EAM-ELAS, each saw the other to be their great enemy. They both saw the Germans were going to be defeated and were a temporary threat. For the communists, the British represented their major obstacle. The Axis withdrawal, before the exiled government could return to the country, created a power vacuum. The government-in-exile, now led by the prominent liberal George Papandreou, moved to Italy, in preparation for its return to Greece. Under the Caserta Agreement of September 1944, all resistance forces in Greece were to be placed under the command of a British officer, General Ronald Scobie. On December 1, Scobie issued a proclamation calling for the dissolution of the ELAS. Thus started "Dekemvrianá" (Greek: Δεκεμβριανά, "the December events"), a 37-day period of full-scale fighting in Athens between EAM fighters and smaller parts of ELAS, and the forces of the British army and the government.

2021-11-13(D) Ross Mulcare vs Tom Raymo British winI went with 3 Fortified Building Locations, some extra concealment counters, and 3 HIP'd units for my purchases. Like others, I was unable to make much use of the kamikaze trolley cars—they drew some fire, but never delivered their payload. I blundered pretty badly with my reinforcements, hoping for a cheap AFV kill near the edge of the map, but getting wiped out on entry. The Brits steadily pushed forward, aided by white phosphorus, taking out my Partisans one-by-one. At the top of turn 5, it was 2-2, but I conceded after not rallying up my scattered broken guys. At that point, the British were too strong and it I didn't have nearly enough units to actually take back a building while holding everything else I had. Interesting scenario with the purchases, definitely. Would love to understand how to use the trucks effectively.
2020-07-20(D) Rob MacGinley vs James Short British winThough it was very pro brits - the trucks full of ammo are very hard to ever use if at all
2019-02-10(A) Tom Abromaitis vs Partisans win
2018-03-16(A) Michael Rodgers vs Bruno L'Archeveque British winBruno chose Wire, ?, and FBL with his fortification points. My British attack stayed pretty close to the victory hex rows. The tramcars were mostly shot up while moving before they could do any real damage. By turn five, we had each won two turns. On the final Partisan turn, Bruno need to take back two hexes. He managed to CC both, but failed to eliminate the defenders. Fun, original scenario; the British player needs to keep careful track of the sewer movement possibilities.
2017-10-05(D) Richard Jenulis vs John Haughey British winASLOK 2017. Partisans made no progress against solid British defense.
2017-05-17(A) Andy Beaton vs Jeff Wasserman British winMines and tunnels caused a lot of pain but British firepower won out in the end.

2016-08-20(D) Andy Hershey vs Mike Daschbach British win[Imported from ROAR]
2016-06-25(D) Dan Best vs Bud Garding Partisans winTexas ASL Tournament 2016. Partisan counterattack group recaptured buildings for the win.
2016-03-20(A) nathan wegener vs Paul Works British winAssaulted up the middle with combined arms - Opponent defended up front, mines covering fortified buildings. 8 morale troops rushed past and encircled. Feels tough on the partisans. MM2016
2016-03-20(D) Paul Works vs Nathan Wegener British win2016 March Madness ASL Tournament. British have too much firepower; especially adding in their air support.
2012-06-22(D) Will Willow vs P. Shelling British winFTF Playtest as Heart of Apollo
