Overview:
As the German offensive at Kursk was grinding on, the Russians initiated a counter-offensive in the Orel salient, Operation Kutuzov. They smashed through the German front, sending armored columns deep behind the lines. Model was forces to rush Panzer troops from the stalled northern Kursk pincer, and thrust them in the path of the Russian behemoth in a desperate attempt to slow them down.Attacker: Russian (11th Guards Army)
