Overview:

Supported by the tanks of the Ontario Regiment, the Vandoos set out towards their objective of the "CIDER" crossroads. In their path were men and panzers units of the elite German 1st Fallschirmjäger Division, who raked the Vandoos with heavy mortar and machine-gun fire. As the Vandoos' casualties started mount, Captain Triquet ordered his men to the only safe place - the stone manor house of Casa Berardi.

2020-04-06(D) O Ramaille vs German winA snake eyes festival for both sides. The Canadian progress was steady using some smoke cover but a LMG posted at the 2nd level of Casa Berardi began to slow the process. Meanwhile, the German mortar revealed and shocked then eliminated a Sherman. The British armor leader was torn to ashes within his vehicle by a precise panzerfaust hit just after eliminating a panzer IV. The offboard observer miscalculated and the 120mm OBA fell down among some German defenders. Despite eliminating the German mortar with a CH, the few remaining Canadian troops were in no capacity to take the Cider crossroad. A major victory for the Germans.
2017-09-23(D) Kermit Mullins vs Dan Best German winA great, hard fought battle. Dan's Canadians hit the Germans hard on the south in front of the Casa Berardi. Dan's dice inflicted 4 Boxcars on him, which seriously impacted his assault. Then the German sniper KIA'd the 9-2 and wounded the 8-1. Then Panzerfausts claimed all three Sherman tanks and secured a German victory.
