2024-03-16(D) Kevin Duval vs Dwayne DuvalD Partisan winRussian MMG on hill taking long range shots in conjunction with MTR kept the Croatian attack in check for far too long. Final push in Turn 6 to get within distance of the west edge for the exit cost the Croatians 8 CVP vs 5 CVP total for Partisans, effectively destroying their will to continue the mission.
2022-08-30(D) Jeff B vs Joe Arthur Croatian win4.75 hrsPretty tough defense for the partisans, as they have three full boards to cover. I knew the high ground would be important, but my HIP traps set to vaportize him on his way there proved grossly ineffective. Ammo shortage on SWs make this one extremely limiting and dicey, much moreso for the partisans. Thankfully we really didn't have it come into play a whole lot. Joe did a nice job of feinting with a lot of dummies in the north; i caught on quickly enough, but knew there was at least one real unit there so I had to leave a much-needed squad behind to guard. The rest of my men quickly shifted toward the western part of board 2. Unfortunately for me only about half of them made it up into the hills, the rest were stuck in the woods bordering the road. I had captured the Croat mortar, and took a few shiots with it before breaking it for good. In the end he just had too much time, too many bodies, and too much muscle for me to stop a mass exit on the last turn.
2021-05-14(A) Dan Best vs Kermit Mullins Partisan win
2021-05-14(D) Kermit Mullins vs Dan Best Partisan winDan's Croatians ran into HIP Partisans on the first turn and suffered some quick setbacks. Broken weapons were a problem for both sides. The Croatians had to spend valuable time rallying troops. The Partisans took some losses, but ultimately were able to deal some real damage and then delay the Croatians to the point that they ran out of time for exiting.
