Overview:
Captain Frank Centenni and the men of K Company were counting their blessings. Within hours of storming ashore they had gained the summit of Malinta Hill unopposed. Every man knew that soon the Japanese would launch a counterattack to try and remove the Americans from this vital piece of real estate. Sure enough, shortly before dawn Japanese marines came charging out of the tunnels at the base of the hill.
