Overview:
The Yugoslavian 3rd Army was conducting its long-planned advance against Italian positions in northern Albania, as the Axis invasion engulfed the Balkans. The 15th Zetska Division was advancing steadily towards Shkodar to relieve pressure on the southern front. The Italians gave ground but the Yugoslavians were forced to halt as German and Italian forces threatened their flanks.
