2025-02-16(A) Peter Palmer vs John Knowles Chinese win10.83 hrsLong, involved scenario. The White Russian player has to balance the CVP, a lot of ground to cover and occupy and mainatin a cohesive plan of attack throughout. In a scenario such as this, it is quite easy to lose focus from session to session as happened in this playing but I enjoyed the narrative of the scenario. I'm actually a huge fan of LFT's RCW scenarios so this was very enjoyable to play but it is an intense amount of mental work at times. I'm not sure that any delay in the reinforcements can be sustained but it is fun.
2024-02-29(A) Richard Jenulis vs Dennis Hess Chinese winThis is a very long scenario. The Russians are attacking Chinese on Hills and in Stone buildings with less troops and low ELR with an added CVP cap. There is a lot of moving of units that are out of LOS and/or long range. Lots of rules diving. Cool theme, nice to use the new boards, but not a scenario I will play twice.
