Overview:
By the 9th of September, forward German units were already probing the outskirts of Warsaw. During the first week of the campaign the Polish 1st LTB had been sent to numerous areas to plug gaps in the Polish lines, and to disrupt German movements and supplies. In this capacity, the 1st LTB had been successful, also causing losses whenever they ran into Panzers. Now as Polish units fell back from the frontier, the 1st LTB was tasked with keeping corridors open for Polish units trying to fall back to Warsaw, before it was completely cut off. On the 9th of September, the 1st LTB was given such a task, when supported by the 13th Infantry Division, they moved to dislodge the German 1st leichte out of Glowaczow.Attacker: Polish (13 Kresowa Dywizja Piechoty (Infantry Division) and 1 Batalion Czolgów Lekkich (LTB-Light Tank Battalion))
Defender: German (1. leichte Division (mot.))

| 2026-06-27 | (A) David Ramsey | vs | Matthew Ellis | Polish win | 2.5 hrs | Snuck up the hill and made fairly slow progress but the German tanks were punished for being a little too aggressive and that left me with 3 of the Polish AFVs to bypass freeze our way to victory! | |

| 2025-12-20 | (A) Tripp Killin | vs | Laurent Jassaud | Polish win (VASL Log) | Friday Night Fight: Very fun scenario. My Polish entered strongly on the southern third of the board edge with a small screening force in the middle. Only one platoon came in on the north, into the building cluster D17. Only one Polish tank was immobilized by the PzII and the ATR hit several times but never killed. And while I had a few breaks, I was able to get forces onto the hill by Turn 3. My aggressive advance lead to a lot of CC Reaction Fire, and then Close Combat Phase activity. In these I was generally lucky, and the Germans were not...especially in his CC vs. my tanks. Had these gone differently, I think things would have been very different. By the end of German 4 (when I had to leave) Laurent felt he couldn't win. I felt it might of been possible, but the German losses would have made it difficult. A very enjoyable scenario made more so by great play and good fun with Laurent. |
