Overview:

One of the few units near the bridge not attached to the 2nd Parachute Battalion was Platoon No. 8 of the 3rd Parachute Battalion. Accompanied by men from the Headquarters Defense Platoon, Platoon No. 8 probed outward into the factories of the industrial district east of the bridge. The group set up a perimeter and organized a plan to ambush any passing Germans. They would simply stay put throughout the evening and reconnoiter further under cover of darkness. As the men took up their positions, they suddenly came under intense attack from tanks and troops from Kampfgruppe Knaust.
Attacker: German (SS) (Kampfgruppe Knaust, SS-Panzer Division 9)
Defender: British (Platoon No. 8, 3rd Parachute Battalion and Brigade Headquarters Defense Platoon)

2021-10-02(D) Richard Jenulis vs Brent Morris British winA fun game with lots of HoB & Leader Creation action. Both sides dropped OBA. The loss of the Panther on the last turn put the game beyond reach for the Germans. [GSwd]
2021-03-03(A) David Garvin vs Nick Faryna German (SS) winNick's defence started out initially well; however, I was able to get a key roll or two and then I trapped some guys upstairs and then the way to the victory area was open. Great replayability. Both sides had pretty effective artillery.
2019-09-29(A) Vic Lauterbach vs JM German (SS) winInteresting small scrap with OBA on both sides - German AFVs proved to be the deciding factor.
2018-02-22(A) patrick palma vs John Garlic German (SS) win
2010-11-13(A) Martí Cabré vs Chema Lorente British winI got lots of CVP taking prisoners but failed to remember to take the buildings, so after all the work I lost. Should check VC!!!
