Overview:
After the first assigned objectives of Operation Veritable had been seized, the 9th Cameronians were to pass through and secure their final first day goal: the Galgensteeg ridge and the village of Frasselt. Meanwhile, the enemy had taken shelter from the unprecedented Allied bombardment in the cellars and houses of Frasselt.
