Overview:

As Lt. Col. Shanley prepared for a third day of defending Hill 30, Colonel Lindquist readied the battalion strength body of the 508 assembled at Chef du Pont for their move across the river, moving north to make the crossing at the La Fiere causeway. Meanwhile, on Hill 30, the Germans made yet another attempt to seize the position, this time with the help of four infantry howitzers pushed up covered approaches to the German front lines.

2022-03-27(A) Vic Lauterbach vs Jim Miller German winAfter the postgame analysis by John Bibler the first time I played this scenario, Jim and I tested if the US player can win with the balance (US sets up and moves first). Jim got as close as possible. The final VP count was a tie: 14 exit VP each. I recommend only playing this one that way. It was tense and fun!
2022-03-13(D) Vic Lauterbach vs John Bibler German winThis early Ian Dalglish scenario is very tough for the US. My setup was too dispersed and I was unable to get any units near, much less off, the A11 road hex through John's solid defensive setup. Note that the board area description is misleading. The shaded area is correct but it is hexes LESS than or equal to 23, not greater.
