Overview:

The US 1st Infantry Division was given the task of breaking into the Stolberg Corridor north of the brutal Hurtgen Forest fighting. While the 47th Infantry smashed their way through Gressenich to the west, the 1st Battalion of the 16th Infantry led the assault on the village of Hamich. Waiting in the forest outside of Hamich were the dug in German troops of the 48th Grenadiers, members of the elite 12th VGD. Another bloody chapter was about to be written in the story of the VII Corps.

2018-08-23(D) nathan wegener vs James Treu American winCrazy back and forth. Slow steady push up the middle backed by the 9-2 rally machine pushed the Krauts aside and couldn't stop the assault.
2013-11-02(A) Steve Bowen vs RS German winIncredibly unbalanced scenario. The Germans have a ton of weapons and in addition get to buy a bunch of extras including optional HIP so that the attacker has no idea what he is facing. As the attacking Americans I didn't have time to go slow but everytime I tried to cover ground quickly my opponent would jump a unit out of HIP and hammer me. The only real use for this scenario would be when a veteran attacker is playing a novice defender.
