Overview:

For two days, 2nd Battalion of the British 1st Airborne Division had held the access ramp of the Arnhem bridge against repeated attacks from two SS armored divisions. The bridge was vital to the Germans in order to retake Nijmegen. On September 19th, the “Frundsberg” Division resumed its eastern attacks to retake the bridge. Using bayonet charges, screaming “Whoa Mohammed”, their motto since their fights in North Africa, the Red Devils of the 2nd Battalion, despite being critically low on ammunition, pushed back the first enemy infiltration attempt along the river.
Attacker: German (SS) (10th SS Panzer Division "Fründsberg"/10th SS Stürmschütz Battalion)

2022-11-13(A) Ron Garcia vs Darryl M. British winTough on the Germans. The forces are almost dead even with a few more MG's, a squad, and an assault gun on the German side. Assaulting the defense with the board lengthwise really channels the German's attack. As long as the British slowly fall back and use terrain and blind hexes to their advantage, they can eventually pack the victory building making it almost impossible for the Germans to take. Nothing special about the VC's or forces, but a decent scenario, though.
