Greek Force Bidding. Highest bid listed....April 20th, 1941. Western Greece. The Italians have found the offensive in Greece far tougher than the invasion of Albania. Front line Greek units, relying on outmoded tactics and calvary as shock troops, have caught many Italians off guard. The Germans were sent in to bail the Italians out. But, 50 Years Ago Today, when the 1st Bersalieri Calvary Company, one of Italy's few Calvary units, was caught napping the Germans weren't around to rescue them.Attacker: Greek (12th Cavalry Division)
