Overview:

After the fall of the Fossum Bridge, the next line of defense for the Norwegians was the town of Askim, held by elements of Infantry Regiment 1. As the Germans pushed forward on a wide front, the defenders task was made more difficult as they did not have the troops to defend both the center and the flanks.
Attacker: German (Elements of 362nd Infantry Regiment)

2025-03-10(A) Jobbo Fett vs Rob W. German winThe Germans set up very aggressively and abandoned the bikes/cycles before entering the board. The vast amount of hindrance hurt the Norwegians, who choose a fanned out defense, and the Germans nabbed two squads as prisoners early into the game. Doing whatever I could to avoid being decimated by the Norwegian artillery, the defenders had the tough decision between abandoning the buildings and trying to exit for the VP, or staying put and grinding things down into melees (and hope to win/inflict many losses).

Ultimately, the decision the abandon the buildings proved to be the wrong choice and the Germans were able to guarantee they'd have enough points by the end of the scenario. And interesting scenario, but one that feels it needs tweaking.
