Overview:

85 Japanese transports unloaded assault elements of the 48th Division at Lingayen Gulf on 22 December and they immediately moved southward to the attack. The 11th Filipino Division fled in rout, leaving it up to the U.S. 26th Cavalry Regiment to hold off the Japanese alone. The Americans fought a skillful delaying action. General Homma's troops kept outflanking them and relentlessly continued south on 23 December, encountering the 71st Filipino Division which also broke and ran. Once again the 26th Cavalry, which had established an outpost line, was forced to hold off the Japanese drive.

2022-04-20(D) Ian Morris vs Simon American winIntricate scenario, lots going on for both sides. A game of 3s on the dice for both sides. Note to self : double check the terrain heights before positioning mortars !
2022-04-20(A) Simon Staniforth vs American winMy opponent has already reported on the game. Lost too many IJA in the mid game put a few too many squads into HtH CC and got burned by the US FP leaving insufficient to carry the victory areas. Read up on the scout cars before playing this one to fully understand their capability
