Overview:

The Japanese defenders consisted mainly of the 124th Infantry Regiment, reinforced with some elements of the 228th Infantry Regiment. Colonel Oka, the 124th IR Commander, and his staff had already withdrawn to an area of safety and ordered the defenders to fight to the death. As part of a XIV Corps offensive, other regiments of the 25th Division attacked to the west while the 35th Infantry Regiment would reduce The Gifu position.
Attacker: American (Elements of 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division)
Defender: Japanese (Reinforced elements of 124th Infantry Regiment, Kawaguchi Detachment)

2015-01-02(D) Andy Hershey vs Wayne Saunders American win[Imported from ROAR]
2013-12-17(A) Andy Beaton vs Jonathan Kay American winRematch, the Americans win again, largely because the Japanese couldn't roll to save their lives in HtH ambushes.
2013-12-08(A) Andy Beaton vs Jonathan Kay American winJapanese played back in the jungle, which allowed American firepower to get close. Not sure how I'd have played it as the Japanese.
