Overview:

Field Marshal Manstein urged Colonel Kempf to break the stalemate that the 3rd Panzer was locked into. Kempf repositioned Panzer Division 7 near Melikhovo which would allow Panzer Division 6 to drive north in conjunction with Panzer Division 19. Panzer Division 6’s armor spearhead was led by Tiger tanks of Lt. Rubbel’s 1st Company, 603rd Heavy Tank Battalion. After tearing through the lines of the 305th Rifle Division, they advance 10 kilometers and hit the defenses of the 107th Rifle Division at Kazachie.

Part two no so good - they fall back to those fortifications and then reinforce to make it really hard to wipe them off the map since they win just by holding one building!!
2022-07-21(A) Craig Renier vs Marc Hanna German winThe Russian setup a rear defense using wire to cover the left and trenches and mines covering the right. The Germans carefully maneuvered to the Russian right and center. Early on, the Germans broke a Russian crew with HMG providing a crack in the center. But the Russians responded by turning the PzIIIN into a burning wreck. Overall, the German attackers had better success with their attacks while the Russians kept failing MCs. A German Tiger failed its mechanical reliability check, and was left well behind and out of LOS of most of the defenders. Another Russian gun wrecked the Pz IIIJ, but not before the Pz was able to establish a trail brake through a minefield. The Russian gun immobilized a second Tiger which left the match still in doubt. But then a Russian HMG in the church steeple malf'd on its first shot. With only a handful of good order units remaining and overwhelming firepower fast approaching the final defensive line, the Russians conceded.
