Overview:

By February 5, the Soviets had reached the area around Királyhágo tét. Strongly opposed by a mix of German and Hungarian forces, the Soviets would be forced to fight for every building. In addition to their military strengths, the Soviets had initiated psychological warfare tactics, including the use of propaganda leaflets, to wear down the defender’s resolve.
Attacker: Russian (297th Rifle Division and 3rd Tank Brigade, 23rd Tank Corps)
Defender: German (SS) / Hungarian (SS-Kavallerie-Division 8 "Florian Geyer", Panzer-Division "Feldherrnhalle" and Hungarian Central Hungarist Combat Group)

2025-04-19(A) Kevin Duval vs Dwayne Duval Russian winGermans won the dr for first Turn and caused devastation on the Russians. But the Level 4 Ammunition Shortage took it's toll on his weapons quickly there after. Initial Melee during setup remained in play for 3 Turns, adding element of uncertainty. Russians luckily took the final building away and Germans could not retake it on final Turn.
2023-05-13(A) Ian Morris vs Simon Staniforth German (SS) / Hungarian win
2023-05-12(D) Simon Staniforth vs Ian Morris German (SS) / Hungarian winThe random dr gave my Germans the first move, used the 3PP to buy another squad and was soon up to the required 5 Victory Locations. 2 turns later a Panther was purchased and despite being immobilised this was able to hold one flank whilst the Panzer IV remained in the back field and protected the other. StuG and HT were lost early. Russian assaults had to cross roads or even WCB to get at the Victory Locations and the Germans were just able to hold on with enough GO Units to break the attackers.
2022-06-19(A) Tuomo Lukkari vs Teemu Lukkari Russian win[Imported from ROAR]
2022-05-15(D) Asad Rustum vs Magnus Söderberg German (SS) / Hungarian winFestung Budapest ASL Tournament
2021-03-13(A) James Forrest vs In progress
2019-03-28(A) Michal Sedlacko vs Gerhard Bruckner German (SS) / Hungarian win[Imported from ROAR]
2018-05-06(A) Jason Wert vs Jim Travers German (SS) / Hungarian winNice game with Jim and he eliminated my last turn to prevent reinforcement of the key VP locations.
2017-07-18(A) James Lowry vs Patch Bunny Russian win
2017-04-21(D) Glen Taylor vs Dennis Russian win
2015-01-07(A) Andy Beaton vs Jonathan Kay German (SS) / Hungarian winMy infantry was being stifled in CCs I couldn't win, so I need to take risks with my tanks to break the deadlock and it cost me too many CVPs.
2014-06-09(D) Jeff B vs Chad Cooper Russian winThe most exciting part of this one was the initial blind setup. After that it just felt like a tug-of-war without the mud.
2014-04-28(A) Chuck Dye vs patrick palma German (SS) / Hungarian win
2014-04-28(D) patrick palma vs Chuck Dye German (SS) / Hungarian win
2014-02-24(D) Richard Carter vs Stephen Mackintosh German (SS) / Hungarian winI would definitely play this one again, but our playing was a bit disappointing due to my very low rolls and his very high rolls. We started w/ 4 melees and axis (me) one all but 1. I got 2 of his tanks in his first turn and had 31 cvp by top of his turn 2 and I had not spent any points. I can still see the appeal of the situation though and will try again.
2013-09-15(A) Steve Bowen vs RS Russian winOne of my very favorite ASL scenarios. Virtually infinitely re-playable. Russians got the early jump and held on through tons of crazy action. Must play scenario for all ASL players.
2013-01-26(A) Rich Weiley vs Steven Linton German (SS) / Hungarian winCANCON 2013 - Round one
2012-06-22(A) nathan wegener vs Mike D German (SS) / Hungarian winWild, wild, wild, our game had a Stug driver park in the cellar, a wounded hero CH a T-34 with a 'faust, critical duds, leader creation, many malf's, a tank crew successfully place a DC to break a leader but generate a fanatic SS w/hero, an assault engineer CC a vehicle, a maniacal FT toting leader, and some fluffy smoke from Russian guns. It all resulted with 3 potential CC locations on the final turn. Stopped in the street on two of them and failed the CC role to get the 3rd. Ferocity Fest - TtT2012
2012-03-09(A) Stephen Haller vs Axis Russian winAn excellent scenario with high replay value due the rule that either player might be the one to move first. Russians held out against German counterattack on the last turn to eke out the victory. Three straight pin results left a platoon of Nazis chilling their heels outside the last VC hex. Only a lone hero could advance into CC vs. a pinned Russian 4-4-7, but it didn't matter since a SMC can't claim hex control.
2012-01-14(A) Will Willow vs P. Chamberland German (SS) / Hungarian winFTF WO
