Overview:
On the 17th, German Kampfgruppe 1001 Nights had managed to throw the Soviets back near Wriezen. Elements of the 606th Infantry and 111th Stug-Lehr Brigade were digging in just west of Wriezen when word of a powerful Soviet counter-attack in their sector reached them. As the Soviet horde began to appear, the situation appeared bleak for the German Landsers. But help was on the way in the form of the Hetzers of SS Sturmbannfuehrer Woest. Woest led his Hetzers into the fray in a desperate attempt to stop a break-through and effect an escape with the coming darkness.Attacker: Russian (47th Army and 9th Guards Tank Corps)
