Overview:

On June 28, as part of the battle in the Scottish Corridor, the 2nd Argylls of the 15th Scottish Division were ordered to cross the Ordon River. Since there were Germans to the front and rear, the battalion had to be stretched out over the entire area. The commander's decision was to keep one company north of the river, two guarding the bridges, and one in the village of Gavrus. On the 29th, as part of the German effort to cut the Corridor, B Company's position in Gavrus was subjected to a sudden, fierce attack.
Attacker: German (SS) (Kompanie 7, SS-Panzer-Abteilung 10, SS-Panzergrenadier-Regiment 22, SS Panzer Division 10)

2024-06-12(D) Daniel Soukup vs Patrick DrawWe had to end the game early due to time; this is likely a German win but there is enough doubt to call it a "draw." By the end of German turn 4, it was clear that CVP would be in favor of the Germans. However, it was not certain the Germans would be able to control all the necessary buildings. Fun game, but it feels like British concealment (such as 12 concealment counters) would really help to balance this one out.
2022-01-17(A) Eric Topp vs Jason Nichols German (SS) winJason had poor luck with his MC. By turn 3, the Germans had taken many prisoners without losing much in return so he conceded.
2022-01-17(D) Jason Nichols vs Eric Topp German (SS) winSetup wasn't optimal and I failed to use my OBA on the opening turn which was a mistake. Poor LOS from the steeple and the fact Eric's panzers were able to keep it covered in smoke didn't help. My ATG missed an opportunity to take a shot at a MkIV and Eric was able to infiltrate with half-squads around the British positions. Fragile morale meant my broken squads were quickly captured and I lacked the strength to hold on to the village. Would probably make a better fist of things if was re-played.

2016-04-01(A) rene cote vs Cdoary British winMain attack on left flank with sweeping encirclement from the right. Got dragged into city fighting using VBM freeze and eventually loosing all vehicles to the AT guns making VC unachievable. Next time I would concentrate on the right, avoid the town and try to drive straight for the exit VC.
2016-03-18(D) Kermit Mullins vs Jim Burris German (SS) winRound 1 of KC March Madness. My Brits drew both Red Cards back to back so no arty for the entIre game. Jim's SS punched through the center and in 4 turns it was over.
2016-03-18(D) Dave Mareske vs Brian Routh German (SS) winA slow decline of British forces edged the victory for the Germans.
2015-11-12(D) Hennie van der Salm vs Peter Struijf German (SS) win[Imported from ROAR]
2015-10-10(A) Michael Rodgers vs Ray Woloszyn British winRay deployed squads early and often, which made it harder to focus my assault. I attacked mostly from the German right; I sent only one platoon with a FT up the German left. I had one tank make a bee line for the exit for VC and recon. On turn 3, it crossed the river and found a HIP PIAT that, lucky for me, missed its target. The other PIAT was revealed early by Ray in the level two steeple to deny concealment gain to the Germans. Because of the VP requirements, I was a bit conservative with my other tanks at the beginning. I was unlucky with the two FT. One was hit by a sniper and took a long time to rally. The other had its squad broken on a 4 up 2 shot and also took a long time to rally. Ray’s HS were also doing mischievous HS things to make my life more difficult. I got lucky again when I sent a tank to try cutting off a British retreat path. An ATG revealed to shoot and missed; the tank was able to move out of the CA and hide, but it could not do the job that I wanted. Ray had his OBA observer bring the OBA danger close as harassing fire, which also slowed my advance. Around the fourth turn, a second ATG revealed itself to attack the recently recovered left FT unit and break it again. After four turns, I had pushed the British back behind the central road dividing the village, but Ray had not taken many permanent losses. I had lost one tank and several HS. I felt that I could not achieve the VC at this point, so I conceded
