Overview:

The Soviet liberation strategy of Crimea included amphibious landings on the eastern end near Kerch. The Germans had only two companies east of Kerch when the Soviets landed more than two divisions. To bolster the defenses, the 123rd Grenadier Regiment was flown in by JU-52s. The soldiers were first-class veterans and were commanded by Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves holder Major Erich Barenfanger (whose name translates of 'bear catcher'). The 123rd arrived just ahead of a Soviet attack which included recently ferried T-34s and the expert female sniper in the 691st Rifle Regiment, Tatiana Kostyrin.
Attacker: Russian (691st Rifle Regiment, 38th Rifle Division and 85th Tank Regiment and 2nd Guards Rifle Division)

2025-04-25(D) Tim Reade vs Eric Topp German win
2022-09-16(D) Kermit Mullins vs Dan Best German winHard fought game that came down to the final CC's. My Germans rolled poorly in the beginning and Dan's Russians rolled poorly at the end. But with one tank left, the Russians managed to get into CC with the last two German held houses. They would win one CC and the other would go into MELEE and a German win...but the thinnest of margins.
