Overview:

On the same day that the USAAF began its massive attacks on Aachen, the reserve 120th Infantry Regiment – which had taken Bardenberg without opposition the day before – suddenly found itself trapped by a battalion of the 108th Panzer Brigade, which had infiltrated the village seemingly out of nowhere. Could bazookas stop the tanks in the street?. . .

2024-09-20(A) Will Willow vs Dave Lamb American winGakked my setup but still made it interesting. Museumfest.
2023-06-06(D) David Garvin vs Loic Gourdon American win
2021-04-19(A) Eric Partizan Eric vs German win
2020-08-22(A) Jeff B vs Shaun Andrews German win2.75 hrsBeing the last scenario from the first four modules I hadn't played, I was keen to play this. Now I know why it hasn't seen a lot of play. While the setup is interesting, I just don't see how the Americans stand a chance. Americans conceded by the end of Turn 2.
2019-12-07(D) Kermit Mullins vs Dan Best German winWell after seeing the ROAR results for past games, I wasn't overly optimistic about my chances with the Americans. And after conceding on Turn 3...I knew I'd been right. Tough scenario with lots of intense action from the start. My Americans never managed to form a defensive pocket and as a result, my units were sliced apart by the fast moving German tanks and half-tracks.
2017-04-10(A) Gordon Jupp vs Simon Church German winI went for the conservative setup outside of town, figuring I had 9 turns to achieve the objective. I hadn't figured on the US sniper tho, who took out 2 of my leaders in the first 3 turns, and my own troops ineptitude with their weapons, 2 tanks MA malfd...the FB turned up on turn 5 and exacted a heavy toll but the remnants of the infantry managed to squeak the win last turn - interesting game :)
2017-03-13(A) Martí Cabré vs Nicolas Sabido German winVery interesting scenario with the German Panzer Grenadier column inside the city when the fighting begins. I attacked all the American positions to prevent him from regrouping his units and then took them one by one. Using combined vehice-infatry attacks all went well except for the occasional bazooka shot but then the Jabos appeared and smashed some of my vehicles and infantry. Fortunately, after Turn 5 I had all the necessary victory buildings and the Americans were not capable of counter attacking so we called it a day.
