Overview:

The 81st Infantry Division landed on Angaur Island on 17 September, with two Regimental Landing Teams forming two beachheads. On 18 September, American forces connected the two beachheads and the 322nd Regiment nearly reached the western shore – which would cut the island in two. During the night, the lines of the 322nd were infiltrated by parties of Japanese trying to get to the redoubt in the northwest portion of the island.
Attacker: Japanese (1st Battalion, 59th Infantry Regiment, 14th Infantry Division)

2022-03-05(D) Kevin Duval vs Dwayne Duval Japanese winNice & fast scenario. The Japanese slipped through the American line while keeping Cloaking on all except the 2 units that tried (and failed) to Ambush American squad. Once through, there was no way for any sort of pursuit through the Jungle with the movement advantage held by Cloaking counters.
2022-03-05(A) Dwayne Duval vs Kevin Duval Japanese win
2019-04-27(A) Kermit Mullins vs Dan Best Japanese winGreat night scenario with a lot of movement and tough tactical decisions to make. Close combats brutal as my Japanese collided with HIP US forces. Straying took one of my stacks right into the a US MMG and then at the end Dan's 9-1 stack would stray and this would allow me to exit the required 10 VP off the north edge. Wild game that came down to that last straying roll.
2019-04-27(D) Dan Best vs Kermit Mullins Japanese win
2019-03-15(D) Dan Best vs Dave Mareske Japanese winMarch Madness ASL Tournament 2019.
