Overview:

After clearing the Japanese defenders from the Ormoc area, General Bruce’s plan for the next phase was to envelope the enemy from the west with the 306th and 307th Infantry. The 306th Infantry moved out at 0630. Short of ammo, the 1st Battalion delayed departure to await the arrival of E Company with additional ammo. At 1250, having resupplied, the battalion moved out and at 1330 secured the ridge overlooking the bridge over the Pagsangahan River. General Bruce ordered the battalion to push west along the Palompon road to secure the bridge.
Attacker: Japanese (Elements of the 1st Battalion, 5th Infantry Regiment, Japanese 35th Army)
Defender: American (Outpost of the 306th Infantry Regiment, 77th Infantry Division)

2023-08-16(D) Ireneusz Peschke vs Adam W In progressIt seems to us that we have lost time. A boring skirmish on the bridge.
2023-06-21(A) Rob MacGinley vs Sergio Puente Diaz Japanese winPlayed with Sergio in Cyber ASL Tourney

Unique situation of IJA atatck and then defend
US need to hold out as to take the bridge is a big ask
Loved teh different situation and a close game
2023-06-07(D) Andy Hershey vs Keith Spurlock American win[Imported from ROAR]
