Overview:
The bulk of the East Brigade Group was concentrated in the area of the town of Benedello for future attacks on the enemy's communications routes. But their movement could not go unnoticed. On the night of November 5, 1944, German bombings began, attacking from various directions, encircling the town. Covered by mortar and machine gun fire, a group of armored cars and two M41 75/18s also advanced.
